Operational flexibility for multi-purpose usage of pooled battery storage systems

Abstract The multi-purpose usage of battery energy storage systems (BESSs) increases the exploitation their flexibility potential. This can be further enhanced when a large number small BESSs are combined into swarm and marketed collectively by an aggregator. To this end, unified representation remaining for each BESS is needed that meets requirements both, distributed design. In work, we present compact model which call abstract multi-purpose-limited ( Amplify ). It used aggregator to determine how much remains after accepting obligations includes integrated detection conflicts in planned schedule BESS. shown quickly computable does not need data volume during transmission.
